HW1RM Cloaking Bug Persists post-2.0 Patch

After getting my fleet back via the June 10th update (the persist files didn't work properly before that update), I dropped into Bridge of Sighs to test cloaking. It's still not working: cloaked ships are spotted and attacked like any other ship. Additionally, the AI fleets positioned near the hyperspace inhibitor still act goofy - think tangled balls of capital ships - and remain uncloaked, despite their cloak field generators being in formation. No idea if cloaking works in MP.

Any chance that this bug will be patched? Thanks!

Ships sometimes rotate on their own

Captured Carrier spawned enemy Interceptors

I don't have any video codec pack installed (i'm just using VLC to play videos) and the game has been installed (and re-installed 2 times) directly from the steam app and is also updated to its latest version.

Directly start games without the launcher

Instead, Steam starts in the background and then the HM:RC launcher appears, and using it I can launch one of the games.

I read some posts in the Steam and Wine communities about other linux users that were able to launch the games as indicated above, but their notes were prior to the 2.0 patch. I wonder if the behavior of the HW:RC launcher is different now.

My apologies if the topic was already discussed and I didn't find it yet. Thank you!

[BUG] Multiplayer Access Violation

Friend downloaded Homeworld Remastered through Steam. We immediately joined a multiplayer game together. Played for several hours. Both of us crashed mid-game with identically unhelpful Access Violation errors that said nothing other than that in about six different languages.

Edit - I have now had this occur in single player story for Homeworld 1 Remastered.

Edit 2 - apparently making a single topic and replying to someone in it after a week makes me a suspicious poster.
No mods, entirely vanilla install for me and my friend.
It almost prevented me from editing this now, too. Majorly unimpressed with the "support".

[Solved] AMD - Black Screen then crash (After driver uninstall and reinstall)

So i was able ot start the game, and it would black screen and crash.

Saw the thing about AMD users so i uninstalled, restarted. Re-installed. Restarted. Started game back up - but this time i was able to actually start playing the game for about 10 seconds after it loaded. Now im back to the same problem!!

[Solved] Black screen with sound/music at launch

Homeworld RM is launching with a black screen since I changed my gpu. It doesn't crash, the intro movie, music/sound are playing but nothing on screen. It happens with both classic & RM versions.

I went from an AMD to a Nvidia GPU. I reinstalled Windows (10 x64) for the occasion & did the same for Homeworld RM. I have the latest drivers (368.69).

Specs :
I5 4690K @4.2Ghz
16Go RAM
MSI 1070 @stock

What I did before posting :
- Checked .NET & C++ runtimes
- Changed Nvidia settings to performance mode & "let the application decide" mode
- Launched the game in windowed mode
- Deleted the profile folder
- Verified the files with Steam
- Tried launching in different compatibility modes (W7, W XP)
- Don't have any OC or overlay software
- Made the necessary exception for both the launcher & RM exe on my AV software

I'm really at a loss now. I don't see what more I could do. It reminds me of the issue with Nvidia & IGPU on laptops ~ But it's a desktop & my IGPU is definitely disabled in BIOS. Also tried to change some Nvidia settings that could be related but without success.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

Ship settings reset after each mission

Also please send corvette pilots back to flight school, this float and shoot system sucks (I think this has been noted already)

Launcher Crashing
